"The biological transformation in manufacturing will allow to realize self-controlling production that integrates seamlessly with human workers. I am excited about the possibilities arising from biological technologies in the years to come."

Work experience

Since 2013, Peter Froeschle is Chairman of the BMBF-funded research campus ARENA2036 e.V. Topics such as “versatile production” and “intelligent, multi-material lightweight construction with functional integration” as well as rethinking and improving the cooperation between science and industry are at the heart of his work.
Prior to this, he headed the department "Strategic Energy Projects & Market Development Fuel Cells / Electric Vehicles" at Daimler AG for 10 years. In addition, he was elected Deputy to a board member of New Energy World from 2004 to 2013, and he represented the automotive companies as a member of the administrative board of a PPP for fuel cell and hydrogen development.

Course of studies

Peter Froeschle finished his studies at the Technical University of Stuttgart, Germany with a degree in technical & economic cybernetics. Later he completed his management skills with a graduation as MBA at the St. Gallen Business School.
